Our Students Earn the Right to Participate in a TÜBİTAK 2237-A Supported Career Training Programme

Our students Fatma Ceylin CENGİZ and Şevval OKTAY from the Tourism and Hotel Management Programme at Gönen Vocational School, Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University, have been selected to participate in the event entitled “Enhancing the Career Competencies of Associate Degree Students Studying in Tourism Programmes at Vocational Schools,” which will be held under the TÜBİTAK 2237-A Scientific Training Activities Support Programme and coordinated by Lecturer Dr Tarık Yalçınkaya of Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University (ÇOMÜ).

The event, designed for associate degree students studying in the field of tourism, will take place in Çanakkale on 26–28 October 2026. A total of 16 students from different universities have been selected for the programme, which will include training sessions and activities aimed at enhancing participants’ professional and career competencies.

The TÜBİTAK 2237-A Scientific Training Activities Support Programme aims to support scientific training activities and promote participants’ development in their respective fields.

We congratulate our students on being selected for the programme and wish them every success in the training programme to be held in Çanakkale.
