Students from Our Vocational School Participated in the Thrace Career Fair

Students from our Vocational School participated in the Thrace Career Fair, hosted by Tekirdağ Namık Kemal University on May 8, 2026, as part of an initiative to support their career planning and professional development. Students from the Department of Hotel, Restaurant and Catering Services also took part in the event.

Accompanied by Dr. Bülent Gedik, Lecturer in the Department of Electricity and Energy, the students had the opportunity to meet with representatives of public institutions, private sector organizations, and companies operating in various industries. During the fair, they gained valuable information about internship opportunities, career prospects, and employers’ expectations.

By attending career talks, panel sessions, and promotional events organized throughout the fair, the students were able to learn about emerging technologies, current industry developments, and employment opportunities. In particular, students from the Department of Hotel, Restaurant and Catering Services met with representatives of tourism and hospitality businesses, exchanged ideas with industry professionals, and gained valuable experience that will contribute to their future professional development.

The visit was considered a valuable opportunity for students to shape their career goals, enhance their professional awareness, and establish direct connections with industry representatives.
