Information Security Technology Program was established to train qualified manpower against the security risks brought by today's rapidly developing information and communication technologies. The main goal of the program is; To train individuals who are experts in ensuring the security of information systems, recognizing and preventing cyber threats, protecting data integrity and establishing secure network structures.

Students; Obtains theoretical and practical knowledge in areas such as network security, cryptography, malware analysis, security tests, computer forensics and security management. The program aims to contribute to professional profiles such as information security specialist, system administrator and security analyst needed by both the private sector and public institutions. In addition, it is aimed to raise students as individuals who can act with ethical responsibility and have knowledge of national and international security standards.

The main purpose of Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University Information Security Technology Program is to train qualified and equipped professional staff who can respond to the needs of institutions and organizations operating in all fields, especially in the fields of information technologies, information security and computer programming, with both theoretical and practical skills.
