A Quality Meeting was Held as Part of the Self-Assessment Process

A Quality Meeting was held at Gönen Vocational School on Friday, October 31, 2025, as part of the self-assessment report preparation process. The meeting, chaired by our new mentor, Dr. Engin Demir, was attended by all faculty members of the school.

The meeting addressed key components of quality assurance processes, including evaluation criteria, evaluator experiences, the PUKO (Plan-Do-Check-Act) cycle, matching learning outcomes with program outcomes, and obtaining feedback from internal and external stakeholders.

Dr. Engin Demir shared his evaluator experiences from previous external evaluation processes with faculty members and provided information on key points to consider when preparing a self-assessment report.

This meeting aimed to encourage faculty members' active participation in quality processes and raise their awareness of the self-assessment process. In this context, information was provided on interpreting evaluation criteria, integrating the continuous improvement approach into institutional culture, and ensuring the sustainability of quality processes.

Mentor Dr. Faculty Member Engin Demir emphasized the crucial importance of faculty participation in the evaluation process and quality assurance.

The meeting concluded after the faculty members' opinions and suggestions were received.
