Department of Computer Technologies 2nd Orientation Program Was Held

Gönen Vocational School Department of Computer Technologies organized the 2nd Orientation Program in the conference hall on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at 13.00, in order to ensure that students start the new semester more consciously.

While the meeting presentation was delivered by Ahmet Uğur Biçer, a faculty member of the Computer Aided Design and Animation Program, the faculty members of the relevant department were also present at the program.

In the event, focusing particularly on the course registration procedures of students who joined the department via lateral transfer, the points to be considered during the registration process were explained. While students were informed about the use of student ID cards, information was also provided regarding the resolution of problems experienced with student email addresses.

In addition, the operation of the distance education system was introduced, and attention was drawn to important dates in the academic calendar. How the exam system will be implemented, evaluation criteria, and success metrics were shared with the students.

Within the scope of the orientation, not only academic issues but also topics concerning students' social life were addressed. Soli Club cafeteria services and problems experienced in canteens were voiced, and solution proposals were discussed.

The program ended with answering the students' questions and sharing good wishes for the new academic year.
