Program Facilities

1 Laboratory consisting of 30 Apple iMac computers (Equipped with a projector): Gönen Vocational School Macintosh (iMac) laboratory is established on an area of approximately 80 m² and consists of a specially designed smart board system, network devices, seating and desk arrangements, and HD projection equipment to enhance students' comfort and working efficiency. The 30 iMac computers in the laboratory have a high configuration featuring a 21.5-inch Retina 4K display, 3.4 GHz quad-core Intel Core i5 processor with Turbo Boost up to 4.2 GHz, 16 GB RAM support, and a 1TB SSD. Organized adequately to serve all digitalizing fields, our laboratory has Microsoft Office, Adobe, Visual Studio.Net, Dreamweaver, Flash, PhotoShop, Unity, Android Studio, and various application programs installed. This laboratory is especially used in project development courses such as Graphic Animation, Web Design, Digital Illustration, Mobile Application Design, Game Programming, Coding, and Office Software. In addition to the opportunity to use our modernly structured laboratories with high-speed wired/wireless internet outside of course hours, it also functions as a laboratory where students work together with faculty members on their projects and research.
 
1 Windows Laboratory consisting of 30 PC computers (Equipped with a projector): Our Windows laboratory, which has an area of 80 m² and consists of 30 PCs, serves for general use as a computer laboratory shared by all departments. In addition, many courses and applications are conducted with students using their own computers in the classroom. Microsoft Windows 10, Microsoft Office 2016, AutoCAD 2016, Sentez, and Elektra software are installed in the laboratory.
 

With the advanced technological infrastructure it offers, our department encourages students to actively produce not only during course hours but also during their extracurricular time. These laboratory environments, where theoretical knowledge is put into practice with modern hardware and up-to-date software, enable our students to gain industry-standard experience before graduation, build a rich portfolio with original projects, and prepare themselves as fully equipped candidates for the business world.
