Orientation Training was Held in the Natural Gas and Installation Technology Program

Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University Gönen Vocational School Electricity and Energy Department Natural Gas and Installation Technology Program organized an orientation training for students newly registered to the program within the scope of the 2026-2027 Academic Year.

In the program held with the participation of Natural Gas and Installation Technology Program students, comprehensive information was provided in order to facilitate the adaptation process of the students to university life and to contribute to their academic and professional development.

Within the scope of the program, Natural Gas and Installation Technology Program Department Head Assoc. Dr. Asiye ASLAN and Lecturer. See. Dr. Bülent GEDİK gave information to the students about the educational structure of the department, course contents, laboratory and workshop applications, internship and workplace training processes, professional qualifications and career opportunities after graduation.

During the orientation training, explanations were also made about university opportunities, academic consultancy services, student communities and social activities that students can benefit from during their education. Students had the opportunity to meet the faculty members and get information on topics they were curious about.

The information given about the current situation of the natural gas sector, the qualified technical personnel profile needed in the sector and the work areas of the program graduates were followed with interest by the students. The importance of workshops and laboratory activities carried out in line with the applied education approach of the program was emphasized and information was shared about studies that would contribute to the professional development of students.

The orientation program, which was held in a friendly and interactive environment, ended after the students' questions were answered. At the end of the program, students had the opportunity to tour the installation workshop accompanied by instructors and get to know the application areas they will use during the training process.
