Program Outcomes PO1 Possesses fundamental, up-to-date, and applied knowledge related to the profession. PO2 Possesses knowledge regarding occupational health and safety, environmental awareness, and quality processes. PO3 Follows current developments and applications in the profession and utilizes them effectively. PO4 Uses information technologies (software, programs, animation, etc.) related to the profession effectively. PO5 Has the ability to evaluate professional problems and issues independently with an analytical and critical approach and to propose solutions. PO6 Presents ideas at the level of knowledge and skills effectively through written and oral communication and expresses them clearly. PO7 Takes responsibility as a team member to solve complex and unforeseen problems encountered in field-related applications. PO8 Has awareness regarding career management and lifelong learning. PO9 Adheres to social, scientific, cultural, and ethical values during the stages of data collection, application, and announcement of results related to the field. PO11 Explains the technical components and operating principles related to natural gas installation, distribution, storage, and operation. PO12 Performs welding processes and installation of connection elements used in natural gas installations; identifies and conducts maintenance and repair of line and equipment malfunctions. PO13 Carries out the planning, design, and implementation of installation projects.
Program Educational Objectives PEO 1: To ensure that students comprehensively learn fundamental and advanced professional concepts related to the energy field. PEO 2: To aim for students to acquire work habits in accordance with ethical principles by considering individual, social, and environmental responsibilities in professional life. PEO 3: To target the development of creative and effective skills in problem-solving, solution generation, decision-making, and management processes. PEO 4: To provide the competence to follow and adapt to rapid changes and innovations in technology and to use current technologies effectively.
