Business Administration Students Organize a Meaningful Commemoration of the Çanakkale Victory Through a Folk Music Performance

Students of the Business Administration Program organized a music-based commemoration event at Mehmet Akif Primary School as part of the Volunteering Studies course, under the coordination of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatih Şahin. The program was held in observance of the March 18 Çanakkale Victory and Martyrs’ Memorial Day and was designed as the second session of the commemorative activities for fourth-grade students.

Through folk songs performed with guitar and bağlama accompaniment, the historical significance and emotional legacy of the Çanakkale Victory were conveyed in an artistic and engaging manner. The program created meaningful and emotional moments for participants and was followed with great interest by both students and teachers.

By integrating their individual talents and performance skills into the event, the Business Administration students enhanced the quality and impact of the program. The activity was highly appreciated by the audience and served as a valuable example of combining cultural heritage, artistic expression, and social responsibility through volunteer engagement.
