Business Administration Students Organized a Tree Planting Event

The Tree Planting Festival, planned within the scope of volunteer activities at Gönen Vocational School, was successfully carried out on the scheduled date with strong participation. The event was organized under the leadership of students from the Business Administration Program within the Department of Management and Organization and coordinated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatih Şahin, instructor of the Volunteering Studies course.

Conducted in collaboration with the Gönen Forest Management Directorate, the event provided students with an opportunity to move beyond theoretical knowledge and actively participate in the tree planting process in a real-world setting. Held on the Gönen Vocational School campus, the activity offered a tangible example of environmental engagement and collective action.

The participation of students from different programs and academic units reflected a strong sense of unity around shared values within the university community. For the participants, the experience served as an opportunity not only to contribute to the environment but also to strengthen their awareness of social responsibility through collective involvement.

By the end of the day, each sapling planted in the soil symbolized not only a contribution to nature but also the value of cooperation, volunteerism, and shared effort. In this respect, the event stood as a meaningful reminder that even small actions can create a lasting collective impact.
