Introduction
The Accounting and Tax Practices program, launched in the 1994-1995 academic year, is a four-semester associate degree program aimed at training qualified intermediate personnel who can assume responsibility in the accounting departments of businesses and public institutions, and/or, after fulfilling legal requirements, can open and operate their own businesses.
Accounting is an information system that produces various informative tables and reports, contributing to all businesses fulfilling their legal and social responsibilities. In a globalized world, legal changes and economic regulations have increased the need for expert accountants. Students studying in the Accounting and Tax Practices department receive training in general accounting, tax practices, and accounting software packages during their two-year studies.
