Atatürk İlkeleri Ve İnkılap Tarihi I-II Dersi Muafiyet Sınavı Başvurusu Hakkında Bilgilendirme

This announcement is an exam application notice for students who wish to be exempt from the Atatürk's Principles and History of Turkish Revolution I and II courses included in the curricula of all departments and programs.
The 2026-2027 Academic Year Mandatory Atatürk's Principles and History of Turkish Revolution I-II Course Exemption Exam will be held on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at 14:00.

Note: This form will be open for applications between September 7–15, 2026. Submissions will close at 17:00 on the final day. Applications submitted after the specified date and time will not be accepted.

Note: Information such as Name, Surname, Student Number, Department/Program, and Faculty/School must be filled out completely and accurately in the application form. Applications submitted with incomplete or incorrect information will be deemed invalid.

Exam Scope and Evaluation Criteria

  • Taking the exam is not compulsory; only students newly enrolled in the university in the 2026-2027 academic year may participate, provided they complete the required information on the application form accurately and on time.
  • The exam is evaluated out of 100 points.
  • Students scoring 60 and above are exempt from Atatürk's Principles and History of Turkish Revolution I-II courses; the obtained score replaces the grade for these courses and is included in the graduation GPA. Students scoring below 60 cannot be exempt and are required to take these courses.
  • Exemption procedures are conducted by the Student Affairs Office. Students must contact the Student Affairs Office regarding exam results and exemption status.
  • The exam scope covers all topics taught in both the Fall and Spring semesters, including: the late period and collapse process of the Ottoman Empire, World War I and its consequences, the Armistice of Moudros and occupations, the preparation process of the National Struggle, congresses, the opening of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye (TBMM), the War of Independence and its fronts, the Treaty of Lausanne, and post-Republic developments.
