Student Exhibition "Typographic Discourses" Prepared within the Scope of the Typography Course

The student exhibition "Typographic Discourses," prepared by students of the Graphic Design Program at Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University Gönen Vocational School as part of the Typography course, will open to art lovers on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Gönen Vocational School.

The exhibition showcases works produced by students that demonstrate that typography is not merely a design element that ensures readability; it is also a powerful tool for visual communication and intellectual expression. Designs developed through the relationships between letters, words, spaces, and forms will be presented to the viewer with original typographic expressions in line with contemporary graphic design principles.

The "Typographic Discourses" exhibition aims to make visible the conceptual thinking skills developed by students through typography, while addressing fundamental design principles such as form, rhythm, balance, emphasis, and visual hierarchy with an experimental approach. The works in the exhibition consist of original design examples that interpret the power of typography to produce meaning through different visual approaches.

The exhibition, featuring works produced during the Typography course, is curated by Dr. Öğr., a faculty member of the Graphic Design Program. The exhibition is organized by member Yasin Avcı. All academics, students, and art lovers are invited.
