Our Faculty Members Served on the Jury of the “International Tam İsabet Exhibition” Organized as Part of the 1071 Malazgirt Commemorative Events

The “TAM İSABET” International Jury Traditional Turkish Archery Art Exhibition, organized by the Okçular Vakfı (Archers Foundation) as part of the 955th Anniversary of the Conquest of Anatolia – Malazgirt 1071 Commemoration Program, was held at the Ahlat Event Area from August 12 to 26, 2026, bringing together art enthusiasts.

Bringing the spirit of traditional Turkish archery together with contemporary art and design disciplines, this prestigious international event featured the significant contributions of faculty members from the Graphic Design Program at Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University’s Gönen Vocational School. Our faculty members Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Akman, Assoc. Prof. Yasin Avcı, and Lecturer Gökhan Koç were among 15 distinguished art jury members selected from different countries. They served as jury members in the meticulous evaluation and selection process of the artworks submitted to the exhibition, successfully representing our University.

As a result of the strong international interest and numerous submissions from around the world, a total of 57 artworks by 46 artists from 15 countries successfully passed the jury evaluation and were selected for exhibition.

We congratulate all the artists who contributed to the realization of this exhibition, which brought our traditional cultural heritage together with contemporary design on an international platform, and extend our sincere thanks to our esteemed faculty members for their valuable contributions as jury members.
