2026-2027 ACADEMIC YEAR – ANNOUNCEMENT ON EXEMPTION EXAMINATIONS FOR COMPULSORY COURSES

Students who wish to be exempt from Turkish Language I-II, Atatürk’s Principles and History of the Turkish Revolution I-II, and Foreign Language (English) I-II, which are included in the curricula of the 2026-2027 Academic Year, are kindly requested to review the application and examination information provided below.

Turkish Language I-II Exemption Examination

The exemption examination for students who wish to be exempt from Turkish Language I and Turkish Language II will be held on Monday, September 21, 2026, at 14.00.

Application Deadline: September 15, 2026
Examination Date: September 21, 2026 (Monday)
Examination Time: 14.00

Applications must be submitted via the relevant online application form. Students are advised to use their University-issued e-mail addresses with the @ogr.bandirma.edu.tr domain when applying. Students must ensure that their full name, student number, faculty/vocational school, and department/programme information are entered completely and accurately.

Atatürk’s Principles and History of the Turkish Revolution I-II Exemption Examination

The exemption examination for students who wish to be exempt from Atatürk’s Principles and History of the Turkish Revolution I-II will be held on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at 14.00.

Application Period: September 7-15, 2026
Application Deadline: September 15, 2026, at 17.00
Examination Date: September 22, 2026 (Tuesday)
Examination Time: 14.00

Only students admitted to our University in the 2026-2027 Academic Year may take this examination, provided that they complete the application form accurately and within the specified application period.

The examination will be assessed out of 100 points. Students who receive a score of 60 or above will be exempt from Atatürk’s Principles and History of the Turkish Revolution I-II.

Foreign Language (English) I-II Proficiency (Exemption) Examination

The proficiency (exemption) examination for students who wish to be exempt from Foreign Language (English) I-II will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2026.

Application Period: September 7-17, 2026
Application Deadline: September 17, 2026, at 17.00
Examination Date: September 24, 2026 (Thursday)
Examination Time for Vocational School Students: 11.00

Only students admitted to our University in the 2026-2027 Academic Year may take this examination.

Students who receive a score of 60 or above will be exempt from the Compulsory Foreign Language courses.
