As part of the 2026–2027 Academic Year, orientation programs were held for the students of the Tourism and Hotel Management Program at Gönen Vocational School to help them become more familiar with their program and the educational processes.
During the orientation programs, students were informed about academic procedures related to the conduct of courses, attendance requirements, monitoring of courses and examinations, academic advising services, course information packages, assessment and evaluation practices, the functioning of the program, and the opportunities available to support their academic and professional development.
Throughout the programs, students also had the opportunity to ask questions about the educational process and daily life at the Vocational School. Questions such as “Where can we access the course schedule?”, “When will examination dates be announced?”, “How can we contact our academic advisor?”, and “Where can we find information about cafeteria hours?” were answered by the relevant academic staff.
Through these orientation programs, students were provided with the opportunity to become more familiar with the Tourism and Hotel Management Program, its academic structure, and the educational processes at the Vocational School. The programs also aimed to inform students about the academic opportunities available to them and facilitate their adaptation to the new academic year.
The programs concluded with good wishes after students’ questions were answered.
As the Tourism and Hotel Management Program, we wish all our students a successful and productive 2026–2027 Academic Year.
