A single-authored scientific study by Dr. Kadir Kesgin, a faculty member at our Vocational School, has been published in the journal Scientific Reports, indexed in the SCIE Q1 category.

The study, titled “HCCD-DS v2: a transparent synthetic benchmark for human–AI decision support under contextual uncertainty,” introduces the HCCD-DS v2, a transparent and reproducible synthetic benchmark dataset developed to evaluate human-AI decision support processes under contextual uncertainty. The dataset models user expertise, trust dynamics, risk tolerance, explainability knowledge, and recommendation acceptance or rejection behaviors across healthcare, cybersecurity, and IoT scenarios.

The study is expected to contribute to research in the fields of explainable AI, human-centered decision support systems, and trust calibration.
