Gönen Vocational School Graduation Ceremony Took Place

The graduation ceremony of Gönen Vocational School took place with great excitement at the Dursun Akın Campus of Gönen Vocational School. The ceremony, hosted by our Director of Gönen Vocational School, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Adem Korkmaz, was attended by the District Governor of Gönen, Ahmet Altıntaş; the Mayor of Gönen, İbrahim Palaz; our Vice Rectors, Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Serel, Prof. Dr. Ebru Kaya Mutlu, and Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emin Erçakar; our General Secretary, Faruk Küçük; the Gönen District Police Chief, Aydın Zeybek; the Gönen District Gendarmerie Commander, Major Ethem Gökboğa; our academic and administrative staff; members of the press; our students; and their esteemed parents.

The graduation ceremony began with a moment of silence and the recitation of the Turkish National Anthem. The opening speech was delivered by our Director of Gönen Vocational School, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Adem Korkmaz. Our Vice Rector, Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Serel, delivered a welcoming speech, congratulating the graduating students and wishing them success in their professional lives. Gönen District Governor Ahmet Altıntaş also extended his best wishes to the students, hoping for a successful graduation.

Following the speeches, Erkan Çetin, a student from the Computer Programming Distance Education Program who graduated first in his class from Gönen Vocational School in the 2025-2026 academic year, performed a plaque placement ceremony on the school's honor roll on behalf of all graduating students. He then gave a speech expressing his pride and happiness.

The program continued with the presentation of certificates and plaques to the top-performing students. Students who graduated with honors received their certificates and awards from Gönen District Governor Ahmet Altıntaş, Gönen Mayor İbrahim Palaz, our Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Serel, Prof. Dr. Ebru Kaya Mutlu and Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emin Erçakar, our General Secretary Faruk Küçük, Gönen District Police Chief Aydın Zeybek, Gönen District Gendarmerie Commander Major Ethem Gökboğa, and other protocol members. Following the presentation of achievement certificates, graduation certificates were presented to our students by the academic and administrative staff of our Vocational School.

Our graduation ceremony, which took place with great enthusiasm, ended with our students throwing their caps into the air. The moments of joy and pride that filled our vocational school campus were transformed into lasting memories through photographs and videos. We wholeheartedly congratulate our students who have successfully completed their education and experienced the pride of graduation, and we wish them health, happiness, and success in their career journeys.
