Program-specific orientation sessions were held at our vocational school for the 2026-2027 academic year, designed to help students gain a better understanding of their specific programs and the educational processes involved.
During these sessions, students were informed about various aspects of their studies, including academic procedures for course delivery, attendance requirements, how to track coursework and exams, academic advising services, course information packages, assessment and evaluation methods, the operational structure of departments and programs, and resources available to support their academic development.
Students also took the opportunity to ask questions about topics of interest. They raised questions regarding daily academic life, such as "Where can we view the course schedule?", "When will we find out the exam dates?", "How can we contact our academic advisor?", and "Where can we find the dining hall hours?" Relevant faculty members provided explanations, clarifying the matters students were curious about regarding the new academic term.
The sessions concluded with well-wishes after all student questions had been answered. These orientation programs aimed to familiarize students with their programs and the school's educational processes, thereby facilitating a smoother transition into the new academic term.
As Gönen Vocational School, we wish all our students a successful and productive academic year.
